Lincoln has announced plans to have a fully electric lineup by 2030. To begin electrifying its lineup, Lincoln is launching its first global EV in 2022 — the same time that the brand will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Lincoln will use a new all-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive battery electric flexible architecture to produce four brand-new EVs. Currently, the Lincoln lineup includes the plug-in hybrid Lincoln Corsair and Lincoln Aviator SUVs.

The first fully-electric Lincoln will have a spacious interior with lots of storage options as well as a panoramic roof to let more natural light inside. You’ll have several themes to choose from for its display to match your design preferences.

Upcoming Lincoln models will also have the Lincoln Intelligence System that can keep technologies like the SYNC® 4 system up to date through software updates. For instance, the hands-free digital assistant Alexa will get a major update in the fall. Another great new technology will be the Lincoln ActiveGlide hands-free highway driving system, which will take control of the steering while you sit back and relax.

Lincoln has lots of exciting changes in store for its lineup. If you’re interested in driving an eco-friendly Lincoln EV or one of the current models available, give us a call at West Point Lincoln of Sugar Land.
